Priority Labels

Priority Labels help your team identify orders that need special attention. You can assign a Rush or Firm priority to Quotes and Invoices. In this article, we'll go over the following:

How to set a Priority Label

  1. Open a Quote or Invoice
  2. Click Edit.
  3. Locate the Priority dropdown on the right side of the order.
  4. Select Rush or Firm.
  5. Click Save.

Note: New Quotes and Invoices are assigned a Normal priority by default.

 

View Priority Labels on Quotes/Invoices

After saving the order, the selected priority label appears on the Quote or Invoice Overview page next to the order status.

Rush Order

Quotes and Invoices Lists

Quotes and Invoices include a Priority column that displays the order's priority level.

Rush and Firm orders are highlighted to make them easier to identify from the list view.

Priority Labels appear directly on calendar events, making it easy to identify Rush and Firm orders at a glance.

Priority Labels on the Power Scheduler

The Power Scheduler includes a Priority column. Rush and Firm orders are highlighted to provide additional visibility during production scheduling.

Priority Labels also appear on Work Orders so production staff can quickly identify Rush and Firm orders.

  • Use Rush for orders that need to move through production faster than your standard workflow.
  • Use Firm for orders with non-negotiable deadlines.
  • Review Priority Labels regularly during production planning meetings.
  • Combine Priority Labels with Tasks, Production Notes, and Calendar scheduling to improve team visibility and communication.

Can I assign a priority to both Quotes and Invoices?

Yes. Priority Labels can be assigned to both quotes and invoices.

What priority is assigned to new orders?

All new quotes and invoices are assigned the Normal priority by default.

Do Priority Labels affect scheduling automatically?

Priority Labels are designed to improve visibility across Printavo. They help your team identify important orders but do not automatically change production schedules.

Can I change an order's priority later?

Yes. You can update an order's priority at any time by editing the quote or invoice and selecting a different option from the Priority dropdown.
