4.10 QuickBooks Online Export

Connecting Printavo to QuickBooks Online helps keep your accounting up to date without extra manual work. This article walks through how to set up the export, what information syncs between the two systems, and how often updates happen. It also covers key settings you can adjust, like whether fees are included, and what to check if your data isn’t exporting as expected.

Exporting information to QuickBooks Online from Printavo is fast and simple!

We integrate with QuickBooks Online to export your customers, invoices, and payments from Printavo to QuickBooks.

To export your QuickBooks Online account with Printavo, head to My Account > QuickBooks Online Export to connect your account.  You will need a paying Standard or higher subscription.

Changes you make to invoices and customers, as well as new payments captured, in Printavo will be created and updated in QuickBooks Online within 2 hours.  You can always fully connect your account in My Account > QuickBooks Online Export.  If you have any issues with invoices not exporting, you will want to fully connect your account first in My Account.

Quickbooks Export Toggle Options

Under the Export Options section, you can check the box to have fees export to Quickbooks or you can uncheck the box to prevent fees from exporting. Once the setting is disabled, any new fees associated with new deposits will not export to Quickbooks. Previously exported fees will remain in Quickbooks and be unaffected. If you re-enable the export setting, only new fees associated with new deposits will be exported. Any fees that were paid during the period when the setting was disabled will not be retroactively exported.
