How to create/edit Merch products
Creating and editing products in Merch is simple.
Products can be automatically created when creating a store from a quote as seen here, or manually created as shown below.
To create a product:
- View the store you'd like to create products on
- Click the Products tab at the top
- Click New Product
- Hit Save when done
To edit a product:
- View the store you'd like to create products on
- Click the Products tab at the top
- Click on Edit next to the product you'd like to change
- Hit Save when done

Adding personalization to Merch products
Want to upcharge for added personalizations & customizations on products? You can create unlimited personalizations for each product in Merch. When editing a product, scroll down to Personalizations.

Upcharging for specific Merch products sizes
Using Printavo Merch, products can be charged by variant. Each variant can be priced individually.
When editing a product, you will be able to view individual variant pricing to edit them individually.
How to duplicate Merch products
When editing a Merch product inside a store, you can duplicate it by:
- Click Edit on the product
- On the right side, click the Duplicate button
How to deactivate Merch products
When editing a Merch product inside a store, you can Deactivate it. To do this:
- Click Edit on the product
- On the right side, click the "Deactivate" toggle
- Scroll to the bottom and click on the green "Save" button
You can always reactivate products by sliding the toggle back again.
Keep in mind, a deactivated product will be invisible in your store.
Can you deactivate a Merch product when an order has been placed for it?
Yes, you can deactivate a Printavo Merch product at any time.
What if one of our products is showing up on the Products list but not the public-facing Merch store?
Assuming this product has not been set as deactivated, this should be fixed by doing a "refresh" of the product. Simply deactivate the product > scroll to the bottom to click Save > reactivate the product > scroll to the bottom again to click Save. Your product should now be showing up on your Merch store!
Can I set a product to $0?
Yes you can! You can use this to mark the store as Pick-up only, and send a final invoice to the end customer if you want them to be billed at once.
Sizing and colors are not saving on Merch
If the size and/or color of a product is not saving on Merch go to the main Merch settings, then Product Variant Sort, dragged one of the sizes a spot up or down, and then hit save. From there, add the colors/sizes needed.

What size and file types are accepted for Merch products?
Any image file type can be used (.jpg, .jpeg, .png, .gif). We recommend 1500px by 1500px for size.
