Authorize.net Error: "Card code is required"

If you have Authorize.net set up as your payment processor in Printavo and are experiencing this error, please follow the below steps to resolve this:

  1. Log into the Merchant Interface
  2. Click Account from the main toolbar.
  3. Click Payment Form
  4. Click Form Fields
  5. Under Payment Information, please uncheck the boxes for Card Code

Receiving "provide source or customer" error processing Stripe payment

If the following happened:

  • You're using Stripe as a payment processor
  • The customer receives the error "provide source or customer" when submitting payment

Then your customer may have a browser issue. This error is generally due to their browser not allowing Javascript to run. 

Please have them attempt to process payment outside the network they are currently using. For example, from a personal computer instead of a work computer. 

"User authentication failed due to invalid authentication values "Error"

If you are receiving this error when a customer is processing payments and using Authorize.net as your payment processor, here is your solution:

  1. Go to your Authorize.net account and regenerate a new Transaction Key
  2. Head to My Account > Accept Payments
  3. Click on "Authorize.net"
  4. Copy this key into Printavo 
  5. Hit Save

If you are receiving this error when creating a shipping label, here is your solution: 

Head to My Account > Shipping > Re-enter API Key 

Receiving "Transactions of this market type cannot be processed on this system" error

This error can happen because of a few reasons around your account setup in Authorize.net

  • You are attempting to process a type of transaction that your account is not designed to process.

  •  Your Merchant Service Provider may be incorrectly set up for this account.

  • The product type (SIC code) is incorrect for this account.

To correct the error, you will need to reach out to Authorize.net customer support for a solution.

Receiving error "You must supply either a card, customer, pii data, or bank account to create a token."

This error will be created when using Stripe as a payment processor when the customer has disabled JavaScript in their browser.  

Request the customer to pay for the invoice using a different browser and the payment will be completed. 

Receiving the following message when trying to checkout: "customer information manager is not enabled"

You would have to enable this in your Authorize.net account:
